The Clarksburg Chamber of Commerce and their partners are currently hosting a food drive to support Clarksburg CAN and the increased food deficit that we anticipate this holiday season. If you would like to participate, you can drop off food donations at Clarksburg CAN every Saturday from 12:00-2:00 pm from now until December 12. Clarksburg CAN is one of two local benefactors who have been selected to receive all the proceeds from Clarksburg Church's upcoming 5k Anywhere Run. This event has been held at Butler’s Orchard since 2012; but, due to COVID-19 they were not able to use Butler’s Orchard for the 5k Orchard Run.
However, Clarksburg Church recognizes more than ever before the need to shine a spotlight on and support the dreamers and doers of UpCounty who are making the places they live, work, and play filled with more love, compassion, and justice. Therefore, for 2020, the 5k Orchard Run will be held as a virtual 5K run, because dreaming and doing isn’t cancelled.
